It was a busy and fun weekend and I’m finally getting last week’s workouts and weekly wrap post up! On Friday evening, I went up to the Seattle area to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. I did get in some good workouts and runs before that. Here’s what last week’s workouts looked like:
Monday – Ran 4.01 early miles.Tuesday – Ran 4.1 morning miles with some strides on the 4th of July 🇺🇸, avg. pace 9:13.
Wednesday – Started with an Insanity Max:30 workout with hubby and then ran 3.1 miles.
Thursday – Ran 4.0 miles through a nearby park, avg. pace 10:03.
Friday – Had a great trail run. Ran 5.14 miles in Forest Park.
Saturday – Rest day.
Sunday – Ran for an 1.5 hours and ended up with 9.56 miles. It was great to run with my sis again!Total Miles = 29.91 miles. It was a good week. It’s always fun to go on the trails and also run with my sister.
As for the rest of the week, on Saturday, my dad’s 70th surprise birthday party was a success. It was a great party with family and friends, some I haven’t seen in a while too.
On Sunday, we went to downtown Seattle to show relatives the sights. We went to the Ballard Locks, Seattle Center, and Pike Place Market.
Such a fun and busy week! How’d your week go? Any races coming up?

Great week! And pretty pictures! I don’t have any races officially on my calendar until fall. I’m trying to get back into the racing spirit, but it’s hard with this insane heat and humidity right now. Thanks for linking!
