June has come to a close and I ended up running a good 112 miles for the month. I’m happy with that. CIM marathon training will be starting soon. For some reason I thought I had more time but I guess I only have two more weeks. Here’s what last week’s workouts looked like:
Monday – Began the week with a workout with hubby to kick off our 13th wedding Anniversary. We did P90X3 Incinerator, and then I ran 3.04 miles, avg. pace 9:29.
Tuesday – It was a struggle to get up early, but I got up and did T25 Total Body Circuit with hubby and then ran 3.1 miles with some strides, avg. pace 9:24.
Wednesday – Ran a good 5.1 miles, avg. pace 9:04. It was cool to see a deer again.Thursday – Ran 5.0 miles with 7×30 sec fast/2 min recovery, avg. pace 9:04. Had a good workout.Friday – Ran 3.01 miles easy, avg. pace 9:21.Saturday – Ran for a hour and ended up with 6.51 miles, avg. pace 9:13. Sunday – Rest day.
Total Miles = 25.76 miles. It was a decent week. I’m feeling lazy. I need to start picking up the miles. I didn’t realize how quick marathon training is coming up.
As for the rest of the week, it was cool to go to a fondue restaurant for the first time for our 13th Wedding Anniversary.
I’m so thankful my parents came down to help watch the kiddos.
I had a team builder for work at Top Golf. I hadn’t swung a golf club in a while but it was fun.We walked to the park a few times this week too.I’m missing my kiddos right now. They left on Saturday and they’re spending time with my parents and my brother’s family in the Seattle area. It’s the first time they’ll be away for almost a week. I’m looking forward to the weekend already. I’m working my regular schedule so I don’t have the 4th off. Hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!
