Last week was the 2nd week post the Vernonia Marathon. It was a lazy/relaxing week :). Always good to take a break right? I’m going to start picking things up and begin working out with hubby again. We’ll be doing some workout DVDs starting Monday and I’ll still incorporate running to maintain my base. Anyhow, here’s what I did last week:
Monday – Rest day.
Tuesday – Ran 3 easy miles.Wednesday – Rest day.
Thursday – Ran 3.1 easy miles.Friday – Ran 6.01 easy miles.Saturday – Rest day.
Sunday – Rest day.
Total miles = 12.11 miles. Even though I didn’t run much last week, I still thought about running and what’s next as far as goal races. My next goal race will be CIM in December. I won’t be training for that until July so everything until then will be just for fun. I’m looking forward to taking things easy and just maintaining my aerobic base.
As for the weekend, I went up to the Seattle area to celebrate my mom’s birthday. It’s always great to spend time with family. We also got in a little tennis. It was fun playing again.
