I finished October with seventy-seven miles of running. I took it easy after the Chicago Marathon especially after dealing with bronchitis. I felt it was a good recovery month. Last week I incorporated DVD workouts again with running. Here’s what I did:
Monday – Early workout with hubby, we did Insanity Max 30 Sweat Intervals. Then I ran 3 rainy miles.Tuesday – Another good workout with hubby, we did P90X3 The Warrior. I ran 3 miles afterwards.
Wednesday – Nice 4 miles.
Thursday – Rest day.
Friday – Started with P90X3 Agility X and then ran 3.18 miles. I did a little trail running at a local park.
Saturday – Woke up to this beautiful sunrise.
I ended up running 5.13 miles in the rain.
Sunday – Rest day.
Total miles = 18.33 miles. It’s nice working out with hubby again. The cross training is nice. The fall weather has been pretty good. I don’t mind running in the rain and it isn’t too cold. I have been loving the change of scenery with all the colors and leaves.
As for the rest of the week:
Monday was Halloween so here’s a pic of my little pirate and Kylo Ren. I didn’t get home from work until 8pm so my hubby took the kiddos trick or treating. It was nice that my parents came to visit on Thursday. When I was off from work, we went shopping and I was a little surprised to see the station to write to Santa at Macy’s.
But I was really surprised to see that you can visit Santa at the mall already. Didn’t he used to come after Thanksgiving?
My little guy didn’t want to visit Santa but my 8 year old was fine chatting with Santa. How’d your week go? Has Santa arrived at your mall already?
I’m linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for the Weekly Wrap.
Christmas has arrived early here too. I’m so over it!
Great week of workouts!

You had a nice week which including some great cross training! Gorgeous pictures this week too! We haven’t had rain in months now. It’s time! Our Santa used to arrive during the week of Thanksgiving, but that was years ago. I try to stay away from malls, but I’m sure he is already there. It is a cute idea to let the kids write their letters at Macy’s. Thanks for linking, Sherry!
