It was a good week of workouts. I got more workouts in with hubby and got some miles in. Here’s what I did last week:
Monday – Started with a good workout with weights. I did 21 Day Fix Extreme Dirty 30 with hubby. Then I ran 3 miles.
Tuesday – Did T25 Ab Intervals with hubby. It’s a great core workout.
Afterwards, I ran 3.01 miles.
Wednesday – Tough workout with hubby. We did Insanity Max:30 Tabata Power.
Then I ran 4.14 miles.
Thursday – Rest day.
Friday – We did a fun workout, P90X3 MMX. It was a mixed martial arts workout.Afterwards, I ran 4.58 miles.
Saturday – My long run day which ended up being 6.20 miles.
Sunday – Rest day.
Total miles = 20.94 miles. I’d say it was a nice week of workouts. It’s great mixing in the DVD workouts since it’s fun working out with hubby and nice to get a variety of workouts in. We just seem to pick whatever we feel like and can agree on, haha. I think this coming week will be more of the same. How do you plan your workouts when you’re not training for anything?
As for the rest of the week, my kiddos had their parent teacher conferences on Thursday. I took some pics of 8 year old’s work:
I think it’s neat that they are learning about the salmon life cycle. They were given eggs to care for until they release them in December. My kiddo named one Timmy. 🙂
We also went to the park a few times.
I’m glad they love to bike. That was one of my favorite things to do when I was a kid.
How was your week? Do you have any races coming up?
I’m linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for the Weekly Wrap.
It’s hard to plan workouts when I’m not training for anything! Usually it’s all about maintenance. Altho I will admit that I love just running for fun!

I agree. My hubby and I wasted time some mornings trying to figure out which workout to do.

I love that you and your hubby workout together. Looks like you two have a nice at home gym. I always liked to bike ride when I was younger too.

My husband used to work out with me and I loved it, but he got out of the habit and thinks I push him too hard, he wants to move at a slower pace. and his knees bother him so he won’t run with me anymore either… aren’t we sounding old 🙂
I have a Thanksgiving race in my future I think and a 5k in December but other than that no big race plans until March!

I think it’s great you can work out with your husband. I’m pretty sure me and my hubs would never agree. 😉 It is hard to plan your running without something in the immediate future. I did a few months of lower mileage earlier this year and ended up cycling more to fill the gap. I think you may have an artist in the family. Thanks for linking, Sherry!
