It was another busy week with work, house stuff, and workouts. I got some exciting news about Chicago Marathon training though. I applied for a free coaching opportunity from Dawn at Ascent Running, which I saw a post about on Twitter and I got it! 🙂 I’m so excited to have a coach to train me! Now I don’t have to worry about finding a training plan. She’s been great so far. I’m looking forward to what’s in store for me.
On to the workouts for last week:
Monday – Got some strength work in and did T25 Rip’t Circuit. Then ran 3.01 miles.
Tuesday – Started with a good workout with hubby and did Speed 2.0 from T25.
Then ran 3.01 miles.
Wednesday – Ran 5.01 miles.
Thursday – Ran 1.01 miles to continue the RWRunStreak.
Friday – Ran 3.01 miles.
Saturday – 7.01 morning miles.
Sunday – 1.01 miles to continue the RWRunStreak.
Total Miles = 23.07 miles.
I’d say it was a nice and easy week of training before the Seattle Rock’n’Roll Half Marathon and good first week of Chicago Marathon training. 🙂 I’m getting excited for running for MyTeam Triumph at RnR Seattle this Saturday.
Who else is racing next weekend? If you’re running RnR Seattle, hope to see you there!
I’m linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for the Weekly Wrap.
That’s so exciting about the free coaching! I loved having a coach for the Chicago Marathon. It was nice not to have to think about my training. All I had to do was run. And cross train. But it was all planned out for me.
