I’ve been feeling lazy and haven’t been getting things done, like my blog. I didn’t post last week’s workouts so here’s my post for the last two weeks. I’m not training for anything at the moment so I’m just trying to keep my fitness up until June when I start training for the Tunnel Marathon in September. Here’s what my workouts looked like:Week of 5/7- 5/13:
Monday – Ran an easy 3 miles after T25 Total Body Circuit. That workout has always been a tough one with push ups and good core work.
Tuesday – Rest day.Wednesday – Got in 4.5 miles before work.
Thursday – Decided to do a Fartlek run and felt pretty good. Ended up with 5.1 miles.
Friday – Rest day.Saturday – Ran for an hour and 15 minutes and ended up with 8.3 miles. It was nice to check out and go further on the Rock Creek Trail. I usually don’t go on it because of all the stoplights. I don’t like stopping.
Sunday – Rest day.
Total miles = 20.86 miles. Not a bad week.
Week of 5/14 – 5/20:Monday – Ran an easy 3.1 miles after doing 21 Day Fix Extreme Dirty 30. I thought it was a good total body workout with weights. It was hard, especially the bonus round with plank crunches.
Tuesday – Rest day.Wednesday – Ran with a co-worker for the first time. It was great to run with her and someplace new. We went to the Tualatin Hills Nature Park and the trails were nice.
Thursday – Ran 5 miles with some strides. Felt fine.
Friday – Rest day.Saturday – Ran a good 9 miles and went to the end of the Rock Creek Trail this time. It’s a short trail but a nice way to see nature in the suburbs.
Sunday – Rest day.
Total miles = 20.13 miles. I’d say it was a good last two weeks. I’m still enjoying the down time. I’ve got two weeks left until I start training for the Tunnel Marathon.
As for the highlights of the week:Haven’t been doing to much. I did chaperone 10 year old’s field trip last Friday to the Timbers 2 soccer game against the LA Galaxy 2. It was a fun and an exciting game.
We had to leave early though to get back to school when the Timbers were winning 4 to 3, but they ended up winning big with a score of 7 to 3. Such a cool field trip!
That pretty much wraps up the last two weeks. How’d your week go? Any races coming up?
I’m linking up with HoHo Runs and Wendy of Taking the Long Way Home for the Weekly Wrap.
