Actual: Ran 20.01 easy/comfortable miles. I was planning to run by 8 am but ended up starting at 10 am. But it was a beautiful day! Had my UCAN beforehand and nuun to hydrate in my Simple Hydration Bottle. I ended up refilling my bottle at the park. I thought it went well for being 20 miles, my longest run this training cycle. It looks like I have another 20 in a couple of weeks.IMG_0834Sunday –  Plan: Rest day.
Actual: Rest day.

Total miles = 48.18 miles. It was another big mileage week. Happy to knock out that 20 miler and still feel pretty good. My legs were tired but feeling fine today. So grateful things are going well. Next week will be a challenge since hubby works next Saturday when I do my long run. I might have to just wake up really early to get it done..

As for the other highlights of the week:

My first grader won a character trait award for Responsibility and Self Management at his assembly on Friday. His class voted for him which is pretty cool! So proud of him!IMG_0755.HEIC

Also, on Friday, I helped out with fourth grader’s field trip. We went to the Lelooksa Cultural Center, in Ariel, WA, where they learned about the NW Native Americans. They gave a fun performance with masks and dancing. It was a bit smoky due to the fire pit they had but seems like the kids enjoyed it. I was surprised it took almost an hour and a half to get to the place. There was a nice museum where the kids did a scavenger hunt.

  1. Congrats for getting that first 20 miler of this training cycle behind you! I think your fourth marathon is going to be amazing! That does seem like a long way to go for a school field trip. But, I bet the kids had fun! Thanks for linking.
