It was another week of the program, Hammer and Chisel, as well as some running in between. It’s nice getting strength training in and I like how it’s different from what I usually do. Here’s what I did last week:
Monday: Chisel Cardio from Hammer and ChiselTuesday – Max Hammer Strength
Wednesday – Chisel Agility and then also ran 5.5 miles.
Thursday – Hammer Power and 3 treadmill miles.
Friday – Chisel Balance and 5 miles.
Saturday – Hammer Conditioning
Sunday – Ran 8 miles.
On Tuesday, I also started the #SweatPink #yoga #Poseoftheday Challenge. I consider myself a newbie in yoga so bear with my pics lol. I’m trying. 😛 I missed Saturday but here’s what I did:
Tuesday – Twisted chair
Wednesday – PigeonThursday – Frog
Friday – Dolphin
Sunday – Dancer
The weekend was fun since my parents and brother’s family came down. Here’s a pic with my boys and their cousin. We went shopping. The had a great sale at Dick’s Sporting goods where clearance was an additional 50% off.
We also were able to have a date night. We went to an Italian restaurant, Decarli.
The food was great!
I had the Pan Roasted Brick Chicken which had potato gratin, cipollini onions, spinach, and romesco. It was delicious.
We ended up getting dessert to share and the pear crisp was so good! Also, pictured is salted caramel cheesecake. Here’s a group pic.
On Sunday, we watched The Good Dinosaur. It was pretty good.
It was a fun and busy week. How’d your week go? Have you seen any movies lately?
I’m linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for the Weekly Wrap.
Great post. Love the pictures! I really want to try insanity. Hammer and chisel sounds awesome, too. I only have two 15# kettle bells though.

Thanks! Insanity is a good one and I liked the Insanity Max30 program since all workouts are 30 mins.

Nice job with your workouts. The Yoga pic with your son in frog pose is adorable! Your strength training looks hardcore. For the first time, I am going to a personal trainer tomorrow to get help on overall body strength. I’m excited and nervous at the same time.

Wow! You had an incredible week with Hammer and Chisel (that name still terrifies me). I think your yoga poses are great! I can’t imagine posting a pic myself in a yoga pose. Scary! Ha Ha. Dick’s always has the best clearance racks. I think I’ve bought most of my running clothes there. Thanks for linking with us Sherry! Have a great week.

I agree your strength training routine is beyond words. You always get it in! Love the yoga pictures. I would so benefit for adding yoga daily in my life, honestly sometimes I can’t even find the time to stretch good and that is sad. Oh and I always love a good deal! 🙂
