It was another good week of workouts. I’m still doing the Runner’s World Holiday Run Streak and Sunday marked day 18. Here’s what the week looked like:
Monday – I started off doing Insanity Max 30: Tabata Power. I woke up late and only got 18 minutes of the 30 minute workout because I wanted to get my mile in before work too. 18 minutes was better than nothing.
Tuesday – Ran 3 wet morning miles.
Wednesday – Ran 3 miles again before work.
Thursday – Got some strength training in and did Focus T25 Gamma Extreme Circuit. Also, got my mile in for day 15 of the #RWRunStreak.
Friday – Ran a nice 5 miler in the rain.
Saturday – Had a good workout with the BOSU and did the Fuse workout. It’s a good balance and strength one. Also, ran my mile for day 17 of the #RWRunStreak.
Sunday – Ran 10 miles. I was happy to run a long run outside since I had the day off of work.
We had some holiday fun this week. The kiddos had fun decorating their gingerbread house. We put up our tree and decorated it. Love how they were so excited to put up the ornaments, especially my youngest.
They also went and visited Santa. They both made the nice list. I took my little guy’s pic a little too early. 😛
How’d your week go? Have you finished your holiday shopping? Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
I’m linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for the Weekly Wrap.
You had a great week! You are rocking that streak. I finally got the tree up and we had some gingerbread house action as well. Better late than never, right?

18 minutes is better than nothing! Kudos for doing what you had time to do. I wish my kids were young enough to want to decorate a Gingerbread house. I guess I could always do one myself! How cute the “nice” list is for a photo. I bet no kid is every naughty, but that would be funny. You’ve doing great with your run streak. Looks like you had a rainy week for your outside runs too. Thanks for linking with us Sherry!

I sure miss those days with the boys and Santa! Last year I tried to get them to do a gingerbread house, which was always our tradition. My oldest went in his room and shut the door. My youngest helped but gave us total attitude. So much for that!

I’m not looking forward to that kind of attitude. 😦 Hope you’re having a great week!

Great week and yes 18 minutes is better than nothing any day in my book! Wow your gingerbread house looks great! Do you eat it after the holidays? So glad your boys made the nice list and your tree looks pretty. We finally got our tree but it doesn’t have anything on it yet! Maybe this week! Thanks for linking up and good luck in the $75 drawing! 🙂

Another great week Sherry! You are doing awesome with the streak! We haven’t seen Santa yet, but I guess we’ll be seeing lots of running Santa’s at the Santa Run 5K we’re doing on Saturday. 🙂

Tabata – that’s intense stuff! I love seeing how the little ones get so excited about holiday traditions. Mine are older and a bit more teenage/cynical – makes me miss those younger years 🙂
