It was the last week of training for the Hippie Chick Half Marathon and I’d say it went fine. I’m getting my workouts recap up a little bit later than normal because it’s been busy. I had to work yesterday and I came home and decided to watch Game of Thrones instead :P. Here’s what my workouts looked like last week:
- Monday – Worked out with hubby and did 22 Min Hard Corps Resistance 3 and then ran 2.01 miles.
- Tuesday – We did 22 Min Hard Corps Resistance 1 and then I ran 3.01 miles.
- Wednesday – Ran 5.01 miles while my 5 year old was in preschool.
- Thursday – Rest day.
- Friday – Ran 3.01 miles.
- Saturday – Race day 13.13 miles- Hippie Chick Half Marathon.
- Sunday – Rest day.
Total Miles = 26.17 miles.
The Hippie Chick Half Marathon was a hot one, literally. It was so much warmer in the morning than what I was used to. I usually have to wear a coat in the morning but not that morning. But it was a great race! Recap coming soon.
Here are some highlights of the week:
My 5 year old had his preschool Trike-A-Thon and he did awesome. He was one of only two kiddos that filled out his whole card with laps biked. He’s amazing. 🙂
We also went to the park on Saturday. Our house is still up for sale so we had to be out of the house and the park is always fun.
We also got some bubble tea, such a refreshing drink on a hot day.
I had to work on Mother’s day but l love the gifts my kiddos gave me. 🙂
For all the moms out there, hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day! How’d your week go? Any Game Of Thrones fans?
Also, be sure to check out my review and giveaway for a Running On The Wall medal and bib holder if you haven’t already. 🙂

You know I had that same dilemma last night, I needed to get in some more steps but I really wanted to watch tv. So I walked some and watched some. Times like this is when I need a treadmill then I could do both, lol.
Bubble tea? I’ve never heard of this, tell me more about this refreshing drink.
Your mother’s day gifts are so sweet. Awww I hate my girl is too grown up to make me handmade cards.

Lol, a treadmill would help. Bubble tea is a drink that could be made from flavored powders or real fruit. They are like smoothies but have tapioca balls or you can add flavored jellies. I like the real fruit smoothie ones with the tapioca balls. There’s also milk tea bubble teas which aren’t blended with ice. They are just iced teas. Hope that gives you a better idea. 🙂

Congratulations on having a great race! The heat is always such a game changer! I look forward to reading the race recap. I’ve never heard of bubble tea! It looks refreshing though. Is it a blended ice drink? Those are the sweetest Mother’s Day gifts. I know you’ll treasure them always. What’s next on your racing calendar? Thanks for linking with us Sherry!

Thanks Holly! The heat is a game changer for sure! It usually is an ice blended drink but there are different varieties where you could just get the milk tea version which is just with ice cubes. I’ll be running RnR Seattle next. Thanks for having the link up! 🙂
