Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! The second week of May went well. Another half marathon is in the books. I actually counted how many half marathons I’ve done and I ran my 21st half marathon, the Hippie Chick Half Marathon on Saturday. I’m still enjoying not having a set schedule but I can be indecisive on what I do. Anyhow, here’s what my workouts looked like last week:
Monday – Did P90X3 Total Synergistics with hubby and then ran 3.01 miles.
Tuesday – Did another workout with hubby, P90X3 CVX. Then ran 3.01 miles with some strides.
Wednesday – Rest day.
Total miles = 24.13 miles. It was a nice week. I’m still taking things somewhat easy since I’m not training for anything yet. I’m looking forward to the warmer weather and sunshine that is supposed to come midweek.
As for the other highlights of the week:
It was fun helping out at the kiddos’ school Jog-a-thon on Friday. It was tough tallying the group I was assigned to at times but fun to watch them and cheer them on.
On Saturday, we decided to try a new bubble tea place that just opened recently. I didn’t know it’d take over an hour to get the drinks…oh wells. My drink was good but I wouldn’t wait over an hour again. I got the spicy watermelon with mango twist. Love the cute Mother’s Day gifts my kiddos gave me. How’d your week go?
