Seattle Rock’n’Roll Half Marathon Training Workouts Recap (6/6-6/12)

It was another busy week with work, house stuff, and workouts. I got some exciting news about Chicago Marathon training though. I applied for a free coaching opportunity from Dawn at Ascent Running, which I saw a post about on Twitter and I got it! 🙂 I’m so excited to have a coach to train me! Now I don’t have to worry about finding a training plan. She’s been great so far. I’m looking forward to what’s in store for me.

On to the workouts for last week:

Monday – Got some strength work in and did T25 Rip’t Circuit.imageThen ran 3.01 miles.imageTuesday – Started with a good workout with hubby and did Speed 2.0 from T25.
imageThen ran 3.01 miles.imageWednesday – Ran 5.01 miles.imageThursday – Ran 1.01 miles to continue the RWRunStreak.imageFriday – Ran 3.01 miles. imageSaturday – 7.01 morning miles.imageSunday – 1.01 miles to continue the RWRunStreak.imageTotal Miles = 23.07 miles.

I’d say it was a nice and easy week of training before the Seattle Rock’n’Roll Half Marathon and good first week of Chicago Marathon training. 🙂 I’m getting excited for running for MyTeam Triumph at RnR Seattle this Saturday.

Who else is racing next weekend? If you’re running RnR Seattle, hope to see you there!
