Friday Five: Favorite Winter Activities

It’s Friday! I am linking up once again with Eat Pray Run DCYou Signed Up for What?! and Mar on the Run for their Friday Five Linkup. This week’s theme is Favorite Winter Activities. I wrote about this theme last year and my favorite winter activities haven’t changed much. Here are my favorite winter activities:

1. Running. I still like to run in the Winter. I’m currently doing the Runner’s World Run Streak, just like last year. 🙂  2. Watching the kids decorate their Gingerbread house. It’s fun watching the kids put massive amounts of candy on their house :P. Last year they chose a SpongeBob house to decorate. This year we got the regular one from Costco.IMG_13703. Getting the Christmas tree up and decorating. It’s always nice to put up the decorations and watch the kids have fun hanging ornaments on the tree.IMG_14044. Checking out Christmas Light displays. It’s exciting to drive around and see the Christmas lights. 5. Getting together with family on Christmas. It’s always great to spend time with family especially on Christmas. Here’s a pic from last year’s Christmas with the kiddos and their cousins.20141225_165810410_iOS

  1. So many fun things to do with the kids. Decorating gingerbread houses is one of my favorites. We will be doing that next week! I love running through the winter too! No matter how cold it is always great to get out for a run!
