Workouts Recap (10/12-10/18)

This was recovery week 2, post marathon. I’ve been taking it easy and am starting to get lazy lol. Sleep is good. I’m not following a schedule since I haven’t signed up for any races for the rest of the year. I plan to pick it up this week. But here’s what I did last week:Β

Monday – I did PiYo Core. It’s been a while since I’ve done that one and I had a great core workout.

I also had fun jumping with the kiddos for #JumpJoyMonday for the #SweatPink #FitFamily #BOSUChallenge.Tuesday – Rest Day, slept in. I didn’t feel like getting up early before work.

Wednesday – Ran 3 morning miles before work. Also, didΒ airplanes with my little guyΒ as well asΒ got in our best bird dog for the #BOSUChallenge.Β Thursday – Rest Day. It was #FitFamily plank day for the #BOSUChallenge. This is how we planked it out.

Β Friday – Ran 5 miles while the kiddo was in preschool.Β It was also #ForearmFriday!

Β Saturday – Ran 5 easy treadmill miles. Β Sunday – Rest Day.

It was an okay week. It was fun doing the #FitFamily #BOSUchallenge. The kiddos did great! πŸ™‚ How’d your week go? Hope you have a fantasticΒ week!

I’m linking up withΒ HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlinΒ for the Weekly Wrap.WeeklyWrap

  1. I love how your kids get so involved with the poses and exercising. It’s nice to sleep in some days. I did that this weekend since I could ride my bike later in the day. Just enjoy running for fun right now until you choose your next challenge! You’ve earned the right to do that! And, your body will appreciate it too. Thanks for linking up with us.

  2. Go ahead and rest you deserve it after your great race!!! I just love to see your babies exercising with you! That is just awesome, they will grow up just as active as their momma! Even though I have several half’s after my marathon, I think they will be even more fun after I have tackled the 26.2! Thanks for joining in with us this week! πŸ™‚
